The forthcoming 2020 Nissan Quest is a perfect minivan with excellent capabilities. This time, the 2020 model comes with better exterior design and it brings more power as well. Nissan is doing some nice stuff at the moment when it comes to exterior refreshments. Not only for Quest but for all of its vehicles. The new Quest will grow in size and latest refinements are just showing how big plans Nissan have for this minivan.
The interior will also get further changes as the new generation is almost ready to conquer the minivan segment. The best part about this minivan is its close relations with the Nissan Altima sedan. Altima also got redesign recently, and we must admit it is one of the best-looking sedans on the market. With that in mind, Quest will borrow some styling cues from this sedan and it will look fascinating.
2020 Nissan Quest will get better character lines and sharper edges
The rise of the Quest minivan is very fascinating. Each and every year, this model brings better and better exterior design. The 2020 Nissan Quest will continue that tradition with the latest exterior improvements. Most of the upgrades are effective but simple. The refreshments will include more chrome materials and classier look. Quest is really becoming a luxurious minivan and new model will get better character lines and sharper edges.
More aluminum materials are present, along with the carbon fiber and hard steel materials. The most notable change will happen up front. The front fascia is larger than before and the grille is wider. Headlights will stay intact and the fog lights are now round-shaped and the rear end sports longer taillights. To complete the list of the latest changes, Nissan will offer new exterior paints.
2020 Nissan Quest interior gets soft materials and very nice details
For the most minivan’s customers, the interior is the most important category. The all-new 2020 Nissan Quest won’t disappoint the customers for sure. The interior offers soft materials and very nice details, which includes the overall cabin design. There should be more than one trim available, so the luxury cabin will be optional. Moreover, this minivan is so versatile and practical. The design of the instrument board is astonishing and the layout of the buttons is perfect.
Air vents are larger and are now square-shaped. The latest infotainment system is in the offer and is very functional. On top of that, the 2020 Quest offers plenty of safety aids and driver assistance systems. That includes blind spot monitoring, parking sensors, rear-view camera, traction control, and lane keeping assist. Bluetooth and numerous USB ports are standard, just like the satellite radio. On the other hand, premium Bose audio system will be optional.
2020 Nissan Quest engine and transmission
Unfortunately, the all-new 2020 Nissan Quest comes with a single drivetrain option. However, we expect from Nissan to announce at least one optional engine before its release. Until then, a 3.5-liter V6 remains as the only engine choice. This DOHC unit can generate 253 horses and 236 lb-ft of torque.
A CVT gearbox is standard and it will send the power all four wheels. This feature will be optional. Fuel economy numbers are not available right now, but we can expect good figures as in the past. Some speculations are mentioning a plug-in hybrid variant, but that is very unlikely at the moment.
2020 Nissan Quest price and release date
The price of Nissan’s newest minivan will start at around $30,000. If more trim levels become available, the price could go up to $50,000. The 2020 Nissan Quest will go on sale in March 2019.
