The forthcoming 2020 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter is an electric van with a great driving range and payload. The German automaker offers two battery pack choices, a front-wheel-drive setup, and astonishing interior.
Mercedes invested 150 million euros in the electrification of its vehicles and eCitan model will be the next one. The exterior comes with a high roof and modern styling and this panel van will go on sale later next year. The price is still not available.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter comes with a modern styling and great exterior features. This 3.5-tone van offers tall front end that looks gorgeous. The front bumper is stretching to the sides and the headlights are small LED units. LED daytime running lights are standard while the fog lamps will be available as an option.
The grille sits taller and the hood looks clean and flat. To the sides, the shape and dimensions will remain the same. The rear end adds stylish taillights and the same bumper treatment as on the front.
2020 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter interior gets a new MBUX system
The interior will look gorgeous. The eSprinter van will get a new infotainment system under the name MBUX. This system adds a touchscreen with the two interface modes. Moreover, a smaller touchpad is available too, both to the right and left sides of the driver’s seat. The graphics on the touchscreen are great and the interface is very simple and easy to use. Plenty of active-safety aids will be in the offer. That includes different types of cameras where the backup camera come as standard.
A 360-degree camera system will be optional, just like the parking sensors and the wet wiper system. The seats are comfortable and now every single seat owns a cup holder.
The 2020 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter comes with 220.1 cubic feet of cargo area. You can opt for the cargo model for the additional storage area, and this model offers only three seats. The passenger model can fit up to twelve persons.
2020 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter engine provides 93 miles with the full charge
The approaching 2020 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter comes with two different battery packs in the offer. The lower 41-kWh pack is good enough for the light commercial use and it provides 71.5 miles of driving range. The higher output is a 55-kWh battery that can go for 93 miles with the full charge.
While the 41-kWh battery offers 2,300 pounds of payload, the larger one offers slightly less, 1,990 pounds to be more precise. The charging lasts from six to eight hours or 45 minutes if you are using a fast-charging station. This engines will use 9-speed automatic transmission. The electric motor will also add an additional number of horses, but we are still waiting for the official numbers.
2020 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter price and release date
The price of the 2020 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter is a big mystery for now. The German carmaker is not providing the pricing information but we can expect for the eSprinter to cost slightly over $50,000. The sale will happen in the last quarter of 2019.
