Rifter made a debut at the Geneva Motor Show and it will replace the Peugeot Partner Tepee. We can slot Rifter somewhere between the Citroen Berlingo Multispace and Vauxhall Combo Life models. Moreover, the 2019 Rifter comes in two sizes, Standard and Long which determines the length of the wheelbase. A Rifter 4×4 concept was presented this year as well, but we are yet to find out will this model hit the markets in the near future.

This Minivan will ride on the all-new platform and as we said, it will be offered in two sizes. The front end looks robust and the vertical grille adds a Lion emblem in the middle of it. The LED lighting is standard and the overall front end looks sporty. The ground clearance is increased and it complements an SUV styling.
This models’ proportions are perfect and everything looks balanced. The hood is short while the beltline is high. The roof bars are really looking like a part of the design and lines, creases and edges are very symmetrical. The upcoming 2019 Peugeot Rifter will ride on 17-inch alloy wheels and the rear end sports huge tailgate and angular bumper. The interior looks very unique, distinctive and modern. A Peugeot’s “i-Cockpit” is implemented into the cabin as most of the features are oriented toward the driver. Plenty of clean lines and modern touches can be found inside the cabin and the technology is stunning. That also includes a 3D navigation and latest infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Infotainment color touchscreen is in the offer as well and it looks stunning. Seating for five is standard, however, if you opt for a “Long” model you will get the 7-seater layout. 2019 Peugeot Rifter engine
The upcoming 2019 Peugeot Rifter offers two drivetrain choices. The standard 1.2-liter PureTech petrol unit is capable of producing up to 130 HP and it uses a 6-speed automatic transmission. Furthermore, recommendable is the diesel drivetrain or a couple of them.
Peugeot will use a couple of versions of the 1.5-liter Blue HDi four-cylinder diesel unit. The base engine produces 75 HP while the 130 HP variant is also available. This drivetrain will use an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
2019 Peugeot Rifter price and release date
While there are no specific pricing details, we expect the 2019 Peugeot Rifter to cost around $24,000. This MPV will firstly hit the European markets in the coming months and the U.S. markets will see new Rifter at the beginning of 2019.
